Ready for Learning, Ready for Life.

“I’ve got this.” Every child feels that. Here.

DCD children are ready to face whatever comes their way, at school and in life. With appropriate challenge, they build confidence. In our supportive community, they cultivate acceptance. Through a rich, thoughtfully balanced curriculum, they find the drive to learn and the chance to grow. For more than a century, DCD, a private day school in Dedham, Massachusetts, has been a launchpad for children pre-K to grade 8 — a place to dive in and stretch out. So when it’s time for them to take that leap, they know they can.

At DCD, I learned what I like in school. I like community, I want great arts and challenging academics.

I think the greatest thing is that they become so comfortable so that it’s one thing taken out of their lives to worry about during the school day. That they know that there are adults here who care about them and it’s nurturing…it gives them the confidence to go on.

I'm a busy parent with four kids! I love feeling like I am not alone in this. I've got this team backing me up.
