The Kindergarten Class Play offered a fabulous story of bravery, courage, wisdom, and teamwork! Set in the forest, the Kindergarten class play follows the story of a family of very talented animals, who despite being big, strong and loud, don’t feel that they are brave.
The Kindergarten students learned five lines each, multiple stage positions, a song, and how to make their voices loud and dramatic.
Following the performance, Head of School Allison Webster shared what she loved most about the show to the Kindergarten students, “You are all already brave!” and she expressed “that often, you don’t just feel one thing, you may feel brave and scared!” She went on to emphasize to the Kindergarteners, “take time to notice the next time you don’t feel brave, and remember your amazing performance today, and your bravery!”
Congratulations and thanks to all of our fabulous and brave Kindergartener performers, as well as to all of our wonderful parents for their help in learning lines! Thanks to Dr. Haith for her unforgettable role as Dr. Wise, Mrs. Price and Mrs. Maloney for narrating the play, the Kindergarteners and Mr. Miller for the scenery, Mrs. Rothwell for making the costumes, and to Mrs. Denney and Mrs. Snow for the music! And thanks also to Ms. Sidoli for another amazing class play!
