Enrichment Beyond the School Day

In addition to our EDP program, students can get involved in a variety of special enrichment activities throughout the year. These activities are open to all DCD students whether or not they are signed up for our regular EDP program. There is an additional charge and registration is required. While classes change from year to year, our enrichment program has offered classes in chess, dance, Spanish, yoga and mindfulness, robotics, soccer, and flag football.

Music Lessons in The Afternoon

DCD hosts an extensive Private Music Instruction Program from Strings to Percussion, Bass, Woodwinds, and Voice. Extended Day students who are signed up for our private music program are escorted to and from their music lessons. Click here for more information on Private Music Lessons at DCD.

Students often use EDP as a central adult staffed spot before and after their scheduled activity whether it be a special class, a private music lesson, a club, or a tutoring session.
