Dedham Country Day’s drama season is off to a spellbinding start! The Grade 4 Class Play offered a comical story of time travel, spells, hidden treasure, and teamwork! Set in both modern day and Medieval times, the Grade 4 class play explores the competing interests of selfish greed and kindness, laziness and hard work, and ultimately, the value of doing the right thing and coming together to help others.
Prior to the performance, Ms. Sidoli took the stage to express her great excitement to be kicking off the theater season with the fourth grade play, and expressed her tremendous thanks to Julie O’Rourke (mom to DCD alums Cameron, Matthew and Eden) for her work on costumes, and that her return marks her 31st DCD play! She went on to thank Mr. Miller for the gorgeous scenery, Ms. Lien and Ms. Snow for the music, and Ms. Kennedy and all of our fabulous parents for their help in learning lines!
Congratulations and thanks to all of our sensational fourth grade performers, and thanks to Ms. Sidoli for the first of many wonderful class performances of the year!
