The Mr. Rudnick Facing History and Ourselves Fund

For many members of the DCD community, Mr. Rudnick was more than a teacher — he was a mentor who brought history to life and challenged students to think deeply about identity, belonging, courage, and the impact of individual choices on history. Beyond the classroom, he also played an important leadership role in strengthening DCD through his work in fundraising and community-building.
Honoring Mr. Rudnick and Funding the Future
To honor Mr. Rudnick’s decade of extraordinary service to DCD, we are establishing the Mr. Rudnick Facing History and Ourselves Fund as part of DCD’s endowment.
This endowed fund will provide ongoing support for faculty training, educational resources, and the meaningful learning experiences that have become a hallmark of the Facing History program, ensuring future generations of DCD students continue to benefit from this important work.
We invite alumni, families, parents, faculty, and friends to join us in celebrating Mr. Rudnick’s remarkable legacy by making a gift in his honor. Together, we can honor the profound influence he has had on our community while helping to secure the future of a program he cares about deeply.
Thank you for helping us celebrate and honor Mr. Rudnick’s remarkable contribution to DCD.
