Set in a beautiful village, the Grade 1 Class Play tells the story of a community surrounded by flowers and trees, with a great oak at its center. When the village begins to change and the oak is put at risk, the children and animals of the community come together to bravely stand up for what they believe and dearly love. This touching story celebrates the strength of great ideas, courage, and a deep love for the natural world.

For the Grade 1 Class Play, students take on exciting new responsibilities— they learn to enter and exit at the right moments, holding still in “freeze” scenes, and develop their acting and public speaking skills. Speaking clearly and confidently, and ending with a lovely song, they delivered a wonderful performance.

Thanks and congratulations to all of our wonderful Grade 1 performers, as well as to all of our wonderful parents for their help in learning lines! Thanks to Ms. Low for her fabulous cameo, and to Ms. Tremante and Ms. Wilson, Mr. Miller for the gorgeous scenery, Ms. Rothwell for the great costumes, Ms. Snow and Mr. Vélez for the beautiful music, and thanks to Ms. Sidoli for another fabulous class play!
