DCD parent and alumna, Kristie Dean is featured in this weekend’s Boston 25 News for her youth empowerment group, Soulful Girls Club. Each month, Kristie organizes a free weekend hangout for girls with intellectual and developmental differences. Soulful Girls Club came to be through parent and caregiver feedback expressing a need for social spaces outside of school that catered to their children.
