We were thrilled to see that The Boston Globe just ran a story about DCD alum Sara Falkson ’14 and her company, Robyn, which focuses on elevating body confidence for young female athletes through the sports bra. Sara just graduated from Harvard’s Master of Design Engineering program this past spring.
As an avid field hockey player since her days at DCD, at Noble and Greenough and at Dartmouth College, Sara has always been passionate about the inequalities that exist in the design and availability of athletic products for women.
This past winter, Sara came to speak to the DCD middle school affinity group, Girls’ Voices, where she shared an informative presentation and led a lively group discussion, touching on topics like the “Pink Tax”, spreading body positivity, and how during her masters program she was working toward designing products and places that are inclusive and safe for women.
We were lucky to have Sara visit DCD, and we are thrilled for her success in promoting Robyn. Congratulations, Sara, We are so proud of the amazing work you are doing!
