Wendy Soutsos

My favorite thing about DCD is the emphasis on educating the whole child.

I enjoy the variety in my days, whether I am teaching English or math, coaching hockey, facilitating a discussion during advisory or affinity groups, or editing our school’s literary and art magazine. Each aspect of my day provides a different perspective on the students in front of me, allowing me to see their strengths in different areas. A major goal of mine is to help middle schoolers recognize these strengths and how they fit into their overall learning styles as they become more independent learners.
