My favorite thing about DCD is the community

I began my journey in education working in an outdoor residential program in VA for at-risk youth. After attending Lesley University for my MEd., I worked at the Indian Mountain School for two years. I am now in my 28th year at DCD, having taught history in grades 6-8 and serving as both a coach and advisor. I am presently the Head of Middle School and teach grade 8 US History. During off-school hours, I enjoy playing softball, attending live music shows, and reading on the beach.
