My favorite thing about DCD is the warm and wholesome campus and community, as well as the sense that DCD is a place of expansive possibilities.
I absolutely love teaching and librarianing, and have over a decade of experience in progressive, racially-diverse independent schools across the country. I am an active professional book reviewer for School Library Journal and have served as a nominated panelist on several children’s book award committees, including Lambda Literary Awards and Rhode Island Children’s Book Award.
I am passionate about creating an engaging, inclusive library space that encourages exploration, community, and a lifelong love of reading, learning, and critical thinking. Here’s to just ONE MORE CHAPTER!
