Kyle Ritland

My favorite thing about DCD is the sense of community. From the day I started at DCD, I saw how much the administrators, teachers, students, staff, and families sincerely care about one another.

My interests have always met at the convergence of education and storytelling. Having worked as an English teacher for several years, my passion for collaborating with students, teachers, and families is deeply engrained. Looking to combine my love of teaching with my experience in creative storytelling, I co-founded with my twin brother Adventure Term, Inc., a nonprofit organization that leads experiential education initiatives to train the next generation of environmental storytellers. At DCD, I work with various departments, teachers, students, and families to tell the story of our school community and share what makes us all truly special.
