My favorite thing about DCD is the strong sense of community. There are so many opportunities for students to grow—both academically and personally. As this is my first year here, I am excited to be part of such a welcoming and supportive environment, and I cannot wait to see what the year ahead brings!

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a teacher—and here I am, walking into my eleventh year in the classroom. I began my career at the American School of Madrid in Spain, where I had the opportunity to explore a variety of countries and immerse myself in different cultures. After returning to the States, I continued my teaching journey in Maine and New Hampshire, working with Kindergarten and First Grade students. What I love most about teaching is building meaningful relationships with students and their families, and helping to spark a lifelong love of learning.
