My favorite thing about DCD is from the parent perspective. I really appreciate the blend of cultural kindness, academic challenge, and physical activity provided here. Professionally, I value the autonomy and support which exists and the nimble organizational structure.

I have divided my career between diverse financial roles and education. I have significant corporate experience from my days in the insurance and investment banking industries, and I also know entrepreneurship, from my time at an MIT start-up. For ten years, I was a teacher, coach, and advisor in independent schools (I taught math at DCD from 2002-2004). My top two professional interests are developing/implementing financial strategy and re-thinking the independent school financial model. I was the closing presenter at the 2020 NBOA (National Business Officers Association) Annual Meeting, sharing “Comprehensive Financial Strategy for Independent Schools” with a national audience of business officers in Orlando, Florida.
