Ariana Viola

Middle School Math Teacher

My favorite thing about DCD is that they value the arts! I think it is so important to put time into learning all of the different ways we can express ourselves.

My first few years as a math educator took place in both public and private school environments in my home state of Rhode Island. My love for middle schoolers runs deep: I admire their energy and enjoy supporting them as they decide who they want to be. I am very passionate about making math fun while helping students build a strong foundation as mathematicians and strong habits as learners at large. In my most recent position, I also taught upper school, both regular and honors courses, so I am confident in my ability to prepare students for future mathematics endeavors.
