There’s exciting news for DCD middle school students who received nine awards at the annual Small Independent School Art League (SISAL) show hosted by the Bancroft School. A reception and award ceremony take place on Sunday, March 6, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Kevin Coakley, director of DCD’s arts program, said, “I think the results speak volumes about the impressive work being done in the studios of DCD. We entered 34 pieces and received nine awards.”
DCD earned two first place awards by eighth graders Chris Capone in ceramics and Charlie Volpe in woodworking. All of the award winners are listed below by category.
