Dressed in fabulous animal costumes, DCD’s youngest students delighted the audience this week with a wonderful story of discovery, challenges and teamwork in their Pre-k Class Play. Set on a beautiful farm, the story follows an adorable collection of animal friends who share a great adventure, as they work together and help each other, as great friends do!

With confidence and enthusiasm, DCD’s youngest students delivered their lines in clear, loud voices, using great expression, while also remembering multiple stage positions, and a song as a finale. As they took their bow, the audience erupted in applause, and Head of School Allison Webster expressed how proud she was of our Pre-k students— your play was just like the challenges in the story, and I am so proud of your ability to keep at it! A play takes so much time and hard work, and you kept working together and trying, and made something fabulous happen!

Congratulations to all of our amazing Pre-k performers, as well as to all of our wonderful parents for their help in learning lines. Thanks to Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Swan for narrating the play and creating the beautiful scenery, with help from our Pre-k students! Thanks to Mrs. Rothwell for making the fabulous costumes, and Ms. Snow and Ms. Crugnale for the fun music! And last but not least, thanks to Ms. Sidoli for another incredible Pre-k Class Play!
