Once a peaceful spot on Sandy Valley Road, Dedham Country Day School and its neighborhood are thrown into chaos when 28 terrible turkeys arrive. With scary beaks, flapping wings, and menacing talons, these proud turkeys take over, terrorizing everyone in sight! The play follows their wild antics—growling, pecking, scratching, hissing and chasing—as our brave Kindergarteners bring this uproarious turkey takeover to life in a performance full of laughs and fun.
DCD’s Kindergarten students delivered their lines with great confidence, projecting in clear, loud voices, and performed a fun song at the end about the scary, terrible turkeys on Sandy Valley Road! Head of School Allison Webster expressed how proud she was of our Kindergarteners—you all inspired each other and lifted each other up during the play, and there was such positive contagion in how you performed! Each of you worked so hard individually to be able to contribute as a group, and that made for such a great performance!
Congratulations to all of our fabulous Kindergarten performers, as well as to all of our wonderful parents for their help in learning lines. Thanks to Mrs. Price, Mrs. Maloney and Mrs. Harrison for their cameo performances! Thanks to Mrs. Rothwell for the great costumes, and to Ms. Snow for the wonderful music! Thanks to Mr. Miller, along with fourth grade and kindergarten students for the beautiful scenery, and lastly, thanks to Ms. Sidoli for another wonderful Kindergarten Class Play!
