The Grade 4 class play was a hilarious and heartfelt tale of bravery, integrity and friendship. Set in a small castle town, the story follows a cast of compassionate characters who join forces to help one another, while discovering the true value of doing what is right. This heartwarming story celebrates kindness and honesty, embracing our authentic selves and others’ differences, and, ultimately, the power of friendship!

Following the performance, Head of School Allison Webster shared “I am so proud of all of you. Your play was absolutely fabulous.” She spoke about survival of the fittest, noting that while the dragons thought they had to be fierce to be successful, true survival of the fittest comes from adapting to one’s environment. “In looking at the task of bringing together half our school to put on a performance in this space, that took so much adapting, and I’m so proud of you all! I also want to give a huge thank you to Ms. Sidoli because she had to imagine how we’d adapt to this environment— and that takes creativity, determination and resilience. To her, along with Mr. Holden and our facilities crew, thank you!

Congratulations and thanks to our fabulous fourth grade performers! Thanks to families for their amazing support, and to fourth grade teachers Ms. Kennedy and Mr. Miller for orchestrating the backstage seamlessly! Thanks to Mr. Miller for his wonderful work on scenery, thank you to Ms. O’Rourke for her great work on costumes, and Ms. Snow and Ms. Lien for the beautiful music! And, last but not least, a big thank you to Ms. Sidoli for another wonderful class play!
