On Friday, May 31,the Red Team emerged the winner of the 2013 DCD Olympics after hours competing in the nearly 100-degree heat in the long jump, softball throw, relay race, sack race, spoon race, and many other events. This was the 86th year for the Olympics, which started in 1928 as a way to celebrate the June birthday of Billy Hooper ’32 in the meadow behind his family’s home at 269 Highland Street, now Herrick House.
