Students displayed their complex machines and science projects on Thursday, December 18, concluding the three-week science mini-term unit. The science labs were abuzz with activity as Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Graders shared their work with the rest of the DCD community.

Balls were rolling and levers were cranking as Eighth graders activated their complex machines. Seventh Graders displayed all they had learned in their research and construction of sustainable and green living. And Sixth graders were on hand to discuss the various scientific questions they posed and tested. Parents and fellow students had an opportunity to ask questions and view a great variety of projects. Eighth Graders will present their complex machines at assembly on Thursday, January 8, at 8:15 a.m.
