Today, DCD hosted its optional OXFAM fast! Organized by one of our middle-school service groups, this project invites interested faculty, staff, and middle-school students to abstain from lunch on May 2nd. As a result, DCD donates the money that school would have spent to prepare their lunches to OXFAM. But not to fear— these participants kept up their strength and spirits thanks to delicious hot-chocolate and revitalizing chicken broth! Thanks to our incredible middle schoolers for organizing and participating in this charitable act!
