With a few weeks of team building and skill development under their belts, DCD middle school athletics teams got off to an excellent start in the first week of interscholastic competition.
Highlights from last week included a hard-fought 28-20 victory in our inaugural flag football game against Tenacre, as well as two top-ten finishes in the cross-country race at the Carroll School (DCD runners taking 1st and 7th place). Soccer and field hockey teams are also underway and looking forward to an exciting fall season. Click here to see some photo highlights.
The DCD Vans will be traveling far and wide this week with games and meets at Derby, Fay, Shady Hill, Southfield and Milton while our home athletic fields will be busy hosting soccer games with Rivers and Milton.
