Gathering in the Lowell Center to share all the creativity and hard work that has taken place in our performing and visual arts program has always been a highlight for students, parents, and faculty.  Whether it’s in the Lower School Performing and Visual Arts assembly, through Gallery Week, or the Middle School Performing and Visual Arts assembly, the degree to which the arts and creativity are valued at DCD is always palpable.

Despite our inability to be together at this time, we still wanted to celebrate all of the young artists, woodworkers, musicians, and performers that have been engaged throughout the year in the process of creating, critiquing, and discussing works of art in a wide variety of mediums. The visual and performing arts program has had a vibrant year, and we are proud of the accomplishments of our students and the dedication of our faculty members, even as our program transitioned to distance learning. Take a look at this culminating video.  It’s a special journey that will give you a wonderful view of our creative and committed young artists. Please join us in celebrating the Arts at DCD!
