DCD received recognition for its “Perfectly Joined” advertising campaign in the 28th Annual Educational Advertising Awards.

DCD and Creosote Affects, the marketing agency that developed the campaign, received a gold award in the category of “total ad campaign” for Perfectly Joined. DCD’s annual fund brochure also captured a gold as did the Thrive Campaign newsletter.

The Perfectlty Joined series of newspaper ads received a silver award and the Perfectly Joined admissions viewbook won a bronze award in the student viewbook category. The Admissions open house invitation received a merit award in the direct mail category.

DCD captured six awards in all, and Creosote Affects received a total of 23 awards.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. The awards are sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, the nation’s leading publication for higher education marketing professionals.

This year, nearly 3,000 entries were received from more than one thousand colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countires. Gold awards were granted to 167 institutions, and silver awards were awarded to 158 insitutions.

Judges consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals, and the editorial board of the Higher Education Marketing Report.
