Dedham Country Day School received four PIN Community Service Awards for projects undertaken this year. The awards presentation by the Parents Independent School Network took place on April 26 at St. Sebastian’s School.
DCD received the most awards of any participating school. Awards went to the following projects: Books on CD for Kids are People Too School, Walk for Hunger, Roslindale Head Start, and Pop Tabs Drive. Congratulation to all the students, faculty, staff, and parents involved for a job well done!
Former DCD students Amanda Beaudoin ’09 and Josie Linell ’10 joined two past PIN award recipients from other schools in making a panel presentation about their outreach experiences as part of the event.
