What do a painter, photographer, jewelry designer, culinary artist, woodworker, musician, visual artist, knitter, potter, illustrator, poet, author, embroidery artist, and sculptor have in common? Immense creative talent, of course—and they’re also members of DCD’s faculty and staff!
For the next two weeks, their creative works will be on display for the community to enjoy as part of DCD’s Faculty and Staff Gallery Week. Students often see their teachers only in the classroom, but Arts Department Director, Becca Levi, wanted them to recognize their teachers as the multidimensional, creative individuals they are! She invited faculty and staff to showcase their artistic passions, and the response was incredible! It was inspiring to see so many members of our community step up so willingly to share their work.
Stop by the gallery wall at the top of the stairs and visit the Emmons Lobby to see these amazing works of art. You might just discover a new side of the teachers, staff, or colleagues you’ve known for years!
