Tara McDonald
About
Tara is passionate about education and has worked in the field for her entire professional career. She began teaching Spanish in both the Middle and Upper Schools at Beaver Country Day School, where she eventually became Chair of the Language Department. After eleven years at Beaver and one year at Wellesley High School, she began working at Noble & Greenough, where she has held multiple roles, including Upper School Spanish teacher, Class Dean, Director of Travel & Study Away, and now Admissions Officer. Tara’s children joined DCD in Pre-K, and since then, Tara has been active in the school community. She has served as a Class Parent and the Class Parent Chair of the Parent Association, a library volunteer, and an Annual Fund Ambassador. Currently, she is President of the Parent Association, an Admissions Ambassador, and an active member of the Community Outreach Committee. Tara and her husband Dave live in Needham with their two children, Thomas (DCD ‘28) and Caetlyn (DCD ‘28).
Education
Tara earned her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from The College of the Holy Cross and her M.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College.
