Take a peek at our campus through the eyes and words of some of our students.
DCD students love to talk about their school! They are very excited to share this behind-the-scenes look at their space with you. Unfortunately under the conditions of the pandemic, we will not be able to welcome visitors to school until further notice. We are looking forward to the time when we can meet prospective families face to face on campus!
We call it Huntington House. Our Pre-kindergarten students are very excited to show you around and to share some of their daily routines. We believe children learn through play. As you peek into these classrooms, see if you can spot the many ways our youngest students are learning and demonstrating independence.
Welcome to DCD’s Lower School building. It may be quiet now, but during school hours it’s a really busy place! You wouldn’t be able to hear our tour guides talk with all the activity.
Welcome to DCD’s Middle School building! We hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at all the different spaces DCD middle school students enjoy throughout the day.
Campus Birdseye View
If you were a bird or a DCD Hawk, this is what you would see as you fly over 90 Sandy Valley Road in Dedham, Massachusetts. This video was captured and edited by Sam Rochelle, a 2012 graduate of Dedham Country Day. He developed a love for movie making during his time at DCD and returned to campus to work as a media intern for his Milton Academy senior project. The music that accompanies this video was written and performed by his brother, Adam Rochelle, DCD Class of 2009.
These videos were filmed and produced by Sam Rochelle, DCD class of 2012 during his return to campus for his high school senior project with Milton Academy.
Schedule a Live Tour
Be sure to set up your personal tour with a member of our admissions team by contacting Laura Martinez. With safety guidelines in place, we will be conducting in-person tours this year for prospective parents that are vaccinated and wearing a mask. If you are unable to join us on campus, we can connect with you via Zoom. Whether in person or virtual, you’ll have the opportunity to take a peek inside some of our classrooms and ask specific questions about our program and your child.
