My favorite thing about DCD is the community – especially the students.

I’ve known that I wanted to be a PE teacher since I was sixteen and worked as a sports and games counselor at a local girl scout camp. I love that PE and athletics help develop the whole child – physically, cognitively and affectively. I love the “ah-ha” and immense smiles when a student performs a skill correctly for the first time after practicing it over and over again. It’s the small victories of my students that I enjoy the most.
