Charles Rudnick

My favorite thing about DCD is the rich array of experiences we offer our students, letting them explore interests and experiment in a supportive environment where the risks of failure are low.

Prior to DCD, my career included a series of rewarding and varied experiences in law, politics, international institution building, higher education, and corporate/nonprofit communications. In many ways, my move into education five years ago was the natural culmination of these experiences and my lifelong passion for making a positive difference — in the communities where I live and in the world at large. My work has focused largely on building and leading organizations, and now that passion is directed toward strengthening our school for the future and teaching our next generation. Especially given the hyper-partisan world we live in today, it is gratifying to help young people learn how to be thoughtful, passionate, informed, and productive members of society.
