That’s just what the cast of the Seventh Grade play tried to find out in two performances on November 14 and 15 of their class play, a mystery adapted and directed by Elisa Sidoli.
Just when they thought they knew the answer, another bit of information would come to light to make them question themselves once again. As bits of information were revealed, one after another in quick succession, the killer’s identity remained uncertain.
Mr. Thacher described the action in Aristotelian terms as anagnorisis, or the sudden awareness of what is really going on.

Ms. Sidoli was assisted by Jane Rothwell, and Lisa Houck’s set design class created the atmosphere for the haunted theater where the action takes place.
