Last Friday, DCD 4th graders hosted their Annual Fun Run in support of the Animal Rescue League of Boston.  Over 150 runners from grades 1 through 8 braved the hills of Stoney Lea and completed the one-mile run, which started and ended at the DCD driveway. The 4th grade was able to raise over $1500 for sheltered animals in need.

Feeling rejuvenated with popsicles and water at the end, many of the children engaged in a multi-grade pick-up soccer game on the field while others played tag and performed cartwheels in the field.   Nothing like a community service project and a beautiful sunny day to bring the whole community together!
