In her spare time when she’s not in the classroom or on the athletic fields, you can find DCD 8th Grader Aly Lief taking photographs—a passion that began earlier this fall, when an injury kept her from playing alongside her Varsity Flag Football teammates. While on the sidelines, Aly began to photograph her teammates, through practices and games, which in turn made her feel like she was still part of the team and action, and her passion took off.
She began to photograph all sorts of middle school sports moments, which has grown into a collection of photos she’s created over the course of the year. Aly shared that she really enjoys editing her photos to add warm and cool tones as well as other editing techniques.
