In a recent all-school assembly, DCD middle school faculty member, Rob Thacher encouraged students of all ages to submit their creative works to the school’s annual literary and arts magazine, “Dream, Create, Discover”. The end product is a beautiful printed magazine that showcases students’ creative endeavors in writing and visual arts throughout the year. Mr. Thacher reminded us that the process we go through to make art is an opportunity to learn something new and to take risks in a completely different way than we do inside the classroom.
