Seneca Francione

About

Seneca Francione has had a diverse career background with common themes of creativity and project management. For many years, she was Senior Editor of Where Boston magazine and has contributed to numerous other publications. In 2005, Seneca founded Three Bean Press, a boutique publishing company with a focus on children’s books, art books, and cookbooks; she also authored three of her own children’s books. Seneca gave up her partnership in Three Bean Press to be a full-time mom. These days, Seneca is pursuing her passion as a home renovator, successfully redesigning and fixing up a number of properties in the Boston area with her husband, Chris. At DCD, Seneca is a member of the Architecture and Design Task Force, an Admissions Ambassador and Annual Fund Ambassador. She has been a class parent and a participant in the SEED parent group. Seneca is also heavily involved with Horizons at DCD. She has co-chaired and helped organize the Annual Future/ Bright Benefit and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2021. Seneca currently sits on the Marketing Committee and is Chair of the Development Committee, and she also sits on the Horizons National Affiliate Board Committee. Seneca lives in Jamaica Plain with her husband, Chris and their daughters, Iyla (’24) and Lena (’28).

Education

Seneca graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in English and a Studio Art minor.
