Brian Blackman
About
Brian K. Blackman serves as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Director for Mass General Brigham Digital Clinical Systems at Mass General Hospital. He collaborates closely with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative digital strategies that align with the organization’s vision for advancing healthcare through technology.
Outside of his professional achievements, Brian has a deep commitment to community involvement. In addition to serving as the President of the Dedham Country Day School Parent Association, Brian is an active member of the board of SIM Boston, where he has played a crucial role in expanding strategic partnerships that benefit both the organization and the broader technology community.
Balancing his professional and community commitments, Brian is a devoted family man, married to his wife Lisa and proud father of two boys, Brendan (DCD ’26) and Ethan (DCD ’32). He enjoys spending quality time with his family, fostering their interests and passions while enjoying various activities together. Brian’s dedication to leadership, mentorship, and community service reflects his belief in the importance of education and the positive impact it can have on future generations.
Education
Brian holds a Master of Science in Leadership with a focus on Healthcare Management and Project Management from Northeastern University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Biology from UMass Boston. Brian continues to further his education and is currently enrolled in a doctoral program for health sciences.
