Making an Impact
DCD Annual Fund
The DCD Annual Fund is the largest source of non-tuition revenue that helps support and sustain the outstanding academics, athletics, arts, technology, resources, and faculty at DCD.
The Annual fund keeps our school thriving through all of our learning models and is also an important source of support for our financial aid budget, ensuring that DCD remains an affordable option to as many families as possible.
The high level of participation in the DCD Annual Fund from parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, trustees, and friends illustrates and reinforces our collective commitment to providing DCD’s students the best possible balanced and child-centric educational experience.
A gift of any size to the Annual Fund is an option for anyone who values the DCD experience. Our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30 and all donors are recognized in our annual report.

Why is Reaching 100% Participation Important?
DCD’s consistently high current parent participation rate demonstrates the belief of our families in DCD’s learning model and its incredible faculty and staff. This sends a strong, positive message to internal and external audiences, including prospective families and charitable foundations.
Welcome to our 2025-2026 Annual Fund Chairs
We’re thrilled to serve as Co-Chairs of the Annual Fund this year. Our son Lucas started at DCD in Pre-K and is now in Kindergarten. Like many five-year-olds, he doesn’t share too many details when we ask about his day (“I don’t remember” is usually the answer!). Thankfully, the photos and updates from his teachers have shown us just how much he’s learning, exploring, and having fun! Seeing Lucas thrive has made us even more excited for our younger son, Ethan, to hopefully join the DCD community next year.
The kind of growth we’ve witnessed in just a short time doesn’t happen by accident, it’s nurtured by the incredible teachers, programs and experiences that make DCD so special. The Annual Fund is what helps bring all of that to life. It gives our teachers the resources they need, keeps opportunities open for our kids in the classroom on the fields and in the arts and ensures that DCD continues to feel like a vibrant, carrying community we all chose. Participation from families, no matter the size of the gift, shows that we are all in this together, supporting the school we love.
This year, our goal is 100% parent participation. Every gift, at every level, makes a difference and strengthens the legacy of DCD for our children and for future families. We hope you’ll join us in making the Annual Fund a priority and giving in a way that feels meaningful to you.
We’re so grateful to be walking this journey alongside you and can’t wait for all that this year holds.
– Erin and Josh Levy | 2025-26 Annual Fund Co-Chairs
On behalf of the many parents who joined us in serving as Annual Fund Ambassadors during the 2024-25 school year, we want to express our gratitude for your strong support for DCD.
For us, serving as parent co-chairs of the Annual Fund is really a labor of love: we know that every dollar raised helps close the “gap” between tuition revenue and the actual cost of a DCD education. The funds go directly to providing the incredible experiences, amazing faculty & staff, and beautiful campus that create the DCD “magic”. This is not discretionary spending: it’s part of the budget the school depends on.
We are deeply indebted to the partnership over the past two years of Walter Garbacik and Maisa Badawy, who served with us as parent co-chairs and were inspirational leaders. And we are excited to welcome Josh and Erin Levy, who are joining us as co-chairs in the third year of our two-year term!
Thank you for continuing to make DCD a philanthropic priority, as we strive to meet our ambitious 2025-26 goals of $750,000 and 100% parent participation!
