DCD is remarkable in the way it brings together so many people who work to create an unparalleled educational experience for our students. Step into school in the middle of the day and look around. Examples are everywhere.
Teachers and coaches inspire our children to become lifelong learners. School administrators and staff work diligently to ensure a vibrant learning environment. Parents and grandparents volunteer and give of their time and resources. Alumni remain connected with DCD and serve both as reminders of DCD’s history and glimpses into its future.
In this environment, our students learn; play; agree and disagree; challenge; and mentor each other – they realize their potential.

Help Us Meet Our Potential
As with almost all independent schools, DCD’s tuition does not cover the full cost of the rich educational experience it provides to each student. We need your help to bridge this gap. Gifts to the DCD Annual Fund are critical in this regard and benefit our students today; they are applied to current academic year operating expenses and are the most effective way to ensure that, together, we meet our potential.
Each gift, of any size, reflects the purpose that connects us as one family. The high level of participation in the DCD Annual Fund also reinforces our collective commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students.

2018-19 Annual Fund Early Donor Raffle

    • Congratulations to the Lackenbauer Family!
The winner of the raffle will be joining Ms. Webster, Head of School, for a behind the scenes experience at the Franklin Park Zoo. Every supporter of the 2018-19 DCD Annual Fund who made a gift or pledge before December 31, 2018 was automatically entered for the raffle drawing.

2017-18 Annual Fund Reaches New Heights

The Murphy family (Owen '25), winners of the 2017-18 early donor raffle, joined our Head of School, Allison Webster and her two daughters, for their winning hot air balloon ride on July 20, 2018.

The 2017-18 Annual Fund closed out at over $626,000, surpassing our goal. We achieved 100% participation from faculty, staff and trustees and 95% participation from current parents.

Thank you for your generous support of the Annual Fund
