DCD Connects is a focused initiative bringing speakers, films, and discussions to the community to support our collective goal of ensuring that children grow balanced, connected, and whole – Dedham Country Day’s core values in educating children.
Leveraging the strong partnership between educators, administrators, parents, and students, the DCD Connects Initiative will offer up insights, tools, and ideas to help us build the scaffolding that supports the development of emotionally intelligent, resilient, happy young adults.

Join us on DCD’s campus during the 2018-19 school year as we explore, with distinguished experts, tools for navigating our complex world and building well-being in school-aged children.

These sessions are free and open to the public.  Please register below to secure your seat for these important presentations and discussions.

CURIOSITY

Sally Taylor        April 23 at 6:30 P.M.
Musician, Artist and Founder of Consenses
In a world that is fragmented and divided, it is often difficult for people to consider, relate to, or appreciate the perspectives of others. The 13th-century poet-philosopher Rumi once said: "Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment." Sally will discuss the importance and necessity of fueling curiosity in education as a means to understanding and considering the world around us.
