DESCRIPTION:Join DCD for a group viewing of the 2024 solar eclipse on Monday\, April 8th\, complete with protective eyewear and great conversation. The moon will come between the earth and the sun between 1:45 – 4:30 pm\, with 92% of the sun blocked at approximately 3:29 pm. We encourage primary and lower school families to gather on campus at 3:10 p.m. for this celestial event.\n \nPrimary and lower school families who would like to join us for the viewing should arrive at 3:10 pm\, meet their child(ren) and proceed to the Valentine Patio for the viewing. Please record your family’s name here if you plan to join\, so we can plan accordingly for your arrival. \n \nWe ask that all parents who attend to supervise their children for safety\, knowing that many may need reminders to utilize their viewing glasses. This is a family event\, and students will be under the supervision of their families\, as opposed to faculty and staff.
