Wonder What is Being Planted at DCD? SEED!
Join Us for DCD's Annual CommUNITY Evening!

All parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Sponsored by DCD's Diversity Committee, the theme of this year's event is "Promoting Dialogue About Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: How Our SEED Program is Helping DCD's Connection & Connectivity Grow" on Thursday, January 16, at 6:00 p.m. It will be hosted by SEED national leaders. Emmy Howe and Ruth Mendoza. The National Seed Project (Seeking Educational Equity & Diversity) partners with schools, organizations, and communities to develop leaders who can guide their peers in conversational communities to drive personal, organizational, and societal change toward social justice.

For the past two years, DCD has run SEED programs for both faculty and current parents. At this year's CommUNITY Evening, DCD SEED-trained leaders will facilitate group discussions on listening to others' voices and learning experientially and collectively. It promises to be an engaging and interactive evening where you will learn more about the SEED program, how it works, and the impact it has already had on the entire DCD community.
