    Leslie Bowen
    After graduating from DCD, Nobles, and Harvard, Henry Singer ’70 headed to the business school at Yale University, a traditional trajectory for a man of his background and education. As he tells the story, he left after an hour, and at 27 years old, started over, in a new profession to which he has passionately dedicated himself over the years since that fateful decision—public service.

  • 2016 Recipient: Ralph Wales '70

    Ralph Wales '70 has been Head of School at the Gordon School since 1994. Over that time, Gordon has received national attention for its achievements in creating and sustaining a decidedly diverse faculty, staff, and student body. Under Ralph’s leadership, Gordon has worked to implement and refine the school’s focus on multicultural teaching practice and anti-bias education.

  • 2015 Recipient: Nick Jackson '87

    Nick Jackson ’87 never envisioned himself in his current job as director of Toole Design Group’s Boston office. As a Vice President and Senior Planner for the firm, he has been designing sustainable transportation systems for the past 12 years, most recently for the City of Boston.

    Nick is highly regarded for his ability to find solutions to complex urban transportation problems, work for which he has received numerous awards and recognition, most recently the National Planning Excellence Award from the American Planning Association in 2015 for his Complete Streets Design Guidelines for Boston.

We will celebrate this year's nominee at the Alumni Association reception on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., the evening before the DCD Fair. Alumni of all years are invited to attend, especially those from class years ending in 4 or 9 who will be celebrating reunions.
