Eighth Grader Liza Huschle Wins This Year's DCD Spelling Bee

Eighth Grader Liza Huschle defeated the competition to emerge the winner of DCD's annual spelling bee, which was held on January 30, in the Lowell Center. Fourth Graders Sophia Perry and Charlie Volpe were also finalists. Liza won the contest by correctly spelling "libel." She was a finalist two years ago, the year her older brother Ian won.

place on Friday, January 13, 2012, engaging children, faculty, and parents in a
