Application Checklist

• Schedule a Parent Tour of DCD (September–December).

• Send Application and $50 Application Fee by January 15 for March 10 consideration. (Applications received after January 15 are considered in second-round decisions.)

• Complete Student Questionnaire and send by January 15 (applicants to Grades 4 – 8).

• Schedule ISEE or SSAT exams and have scores sent to DCD (applicants to Grades 5 – 8).

• Give Student Evaluation Form to current teacher to complete and return to DCD by January 15.

• Give signed Release Form to current school to provide cumulative school records to DCD.

Please Note: You must provide the teacher and the school individual business-sized stamped envelopes with a DCD return address. No envelopes with a student's return address will be accepted.

• To apply for financial aid fill out a PFS (parent financial statement) online at www.sss.nais.org by January 15 for a March 10 decision.
  

• Call DCD after January 1 to schedule a Student Visit.
