On Thursday and Friday, Grandparents and Special Friends returned to DCD in two exciting opportunities to engage and connect with students and teachers!

On Thursday evening, the virtual program featured a welcome from Head of School Allison Webster, followed by a series of presentations which offered a glimpse into some of the projects going on inside DCD’s classrooms, on the stage, and across the athletic fields.

Then, on Friday morning, Grandparents and Special Friends were welcomed back to campus! After an introductory reception, it was time to explore the halls and peek into the classrooms. From art studios to science labs, pre-K to Grade 8, Grandparents and Special Friends were able to share this DCD tradition with their loved ones, and offer a truly wonderful experience for all our DCD students!

Thank you to all the Grandparents and Special Friends for visiting, be it virtually or in-person, and to all our volunteers and staff who helped make this event an unforgettable part of DCD!
